Product Description
Bring a realistic starry sky into your home with the Segatoys Homestar Pure home planetarium. Designed as an accessible entry-level model in the Homestar range, this compact optical star projector uses a precision lens system and interchangeable star discs to project approximately 10,000 stars onto a ceiling or wall.
The included Northern Hemisphere discs allow you to enjoy two viewing styles: a natural-looking night sky or a constellation version with visible constellation lines. The projector can be manually rotated to change the apparent position of the stars, making it suitable for relaxing stargazing, introductory astronomy lessons and atmospheric room decoration.
Its egg-shaped, portable design measures approximately 110 × 160 × 110 mm and operates on four AA batteries, so it can be used without an AC power cable. The adjustable projection angle helps direct the image onto a ceiling or wall, while the built-in 30-minute timer makes the Homestar Pure particularly suitable for bedtime relaxation and sleep routines.
For the best results, use the Sega Toys Homestar Pure in a dark room and position it approximately 2–2.3 metres from the projection surface. It is an appealing choice for astronomy enthusiasts, families, bedrooms, children’s rooms, relaxation spaces and anyone looking for a distinctive home planetarium experience. Additional compatible Homestar projection discs were also marketed for the Pure model.
