Product Description
The Segatoys M101 Messier planetarium disc lets you explore one of the most recognizable galaxies in the night sky from the comfort of your own room. Messier 101 is a face-on spiral galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major and is commonly called the Pinwheel Galaxy. M101 is a spiral galaxy photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope.
Simply insert the disc into a compatible Segatoys Homestar or Imaginarium Star Theatre projector to create an immersive galaxy projection. As the disc rotates, different areas of the image can be displayed, providing a dynamic deep-space viewing experience rather than a static picture.
This galaxy projection disc is ideal for:
- Home astronomy and stargazing sessions
- Children’s science education
- Classroom and homeschool activities
- Bedroom or living-room space decoration
- Astronomy clubs and presentations
- Gifts for science lovers and telescope enthusiasts
The Segatoys Galaxy M101 Messier disc is a practical way to expand your home planetarium collection and introduce viewers to galaxies beyond the Milky Way. Use it with a compatible projector to create an atmospheric, educational display of one of the universe’s most fascinating spiral galaxies.
Compatibility should be checked before purchase, as this disc is intended for Homestar-style projectors and may not fit Bresser, Eastcolight, or Uncle Milton Star Theater Pro systems.
